Privacy at Little Quiz Worlds
Updated 27 September 2026. This page is for parents and young players. We aim to collect only what is needed to run the quiz and keep each family's progress separate.
What we keep
- For a parent: the Google account identifier, email address and display name needed for sign-in.
- For a player: the name and age selected by the parent, a protected version of their PIN, quiz scores, missions, garage choices and any round waiting to be finished.
- On the device: quiz preferences, some progress and a protected four-digit PIN check to support offline practice on a device that has been used before.
- For understanding whether the game works: daily totals of opens, rounds and world visits by age band. These totals do not include a child's name or account ID.
Why we use it
We use these details to let parents manage players, choose age-appropriate questions, save each player's progress, resume rounds and keep the service working. We use short-lived technical counters to limit abuse. We do not show public player profiles, sell player information or run advertising trackers in the game.
Who helps run the service
Google provides parent sign-in. Netlify hosts the website and its functions. Upstash stores account and game data. These providers may process technical request data to deliver the service. The site uses necessary session cookies and browser storage; it does not ask a child to sign in with Google.
How long information stays
Player and parent data stays while the family uses the service, unless deletion is requested. Parent and player sessions expire after 30 days. Saved unfinished rounds and round tickets expire after seven days. Only the latest 20 completed rounds are kept in the player's detailed history. New aggregate daily event counts expire after about 90 days. Copies held in provider backups may follow those providers' retention cycles.
Your choices
A parent can change a child's age or PIN in the app. To ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of family data, email ionut.bajanica@gmail.com from the Google account used for the family. We handle these requests manually and may need to verify account ownership. You can also clear the site's data in your browser to remove local copies from that device.
For younger players
Your parent chooses your player name and PIN. The game saves your points and car so you can carry on later. If you want to know what the game remembers or want something changed, ask your parent to contact us.
